NOTICE *CHANGE TO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Starting in 2010, in response to higher quality industry production and presentation standards, OIAF has changed requirements for selected films submitted on 35mm, DVD and BetacamSP NTSC. Read on for more information.
2010 Film Submissions
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Deadline for entry forms: Tuesday, June 1st, 2010
Deadline for preview DVDs: Tuesday, June 15th, 2010
There is no entry or registration fee.
Only animated films that were completed after June 15th, 2009, are eligible.
You must submit your entry form online through your OIAF login account.
Your preview film must be submitted on a playable DVD (NTSC or PAL). New Media Competition submissions can be submitted as a Weblink or a Flash (SWF) file on CD-ROM or DVD.
If your film has dialogue that is not English and is not subtitled, you must include an English dialogue script.
Director's photograph (300 dpi), biography and 3 stills from the film (300 dpi) are required.
We cannot accept customs charges. Do not label a value over $10 CAN on your package.
DVDs submitted for selection will not be returned.
*NEW IN 2010 If your film is selected, we must receive a 35mm film print, a BetacamSP NTSC, or a Digital Video File: resolution 1280 x 720, square pixels; preferred format: (Mac users) Quicktime using ProRes SQ codec, or (Windows users) Animation 100%, H.264, with little compression. WARNING: All BetacamSP NTSC submitted for screening WILL BE digitized, which may result in a loss of quality. Where possible, please avoid submitting films on BetacamSP NTSC.
*NEW IN 2010 All films selected for the festival must be received by Wednesday, September 1st, 2010.
BetacamSP PAL or DigiBeta are not accepted. Selected 35mm films must also submit a backup screening copy as a Digital Video File only (same technical requirements as above).
By submitting your online entry form, you are agreeing to the OIAF 2010 Rules and Regulations.

O FEST'AFILM, Festival Amadis de Curtas
terá lugar a 3, 4 e 5 de Dezembro próximos, em Montpellier, França.
O Fest'AFilm é um festival dirigido aos lusófonos e aos francófonos, videastas e cineastas, com o intuito de criar sinergias entre a lusofonia e a francofonia e participar na acção de divulgação das culturas lusófonas levadas a cabo pela Associação Casa Amadis em Montpellier, França.
Podem concorrer filmes de 5 a 12 minutos em formato vídeo (zona 2) AVI ou MPEG.
Os filmes concorrentes devem ser compreensíveis pelo público francês e pelo júri, sendo que uma legendagem pode ser necessária.
Pode tratar-se de filmes experimentais, de ficção, de animação, etc.
